Beyond hepatitis and HIV, Erin uses acupuncture and herbal formulas to treat a wide range of health concerns, not limited to internal medicine, autoimmune conditions, and pain relief. She also alleviates anxiety, depression and insomnia utilizing Eight Extraordinary meridian treatments. Erin has treated patients in a number of clinical settings, including an internship at CPMC's Stroke Rehabilitation Clinic at Davies Campus. She has served as an assistant instructor at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has been a repeat guest lecturer at the City College of San Francisco, and teaches qigong and self-massage.

She is a California State Board licensed acupuncturist and a certified Diplomate in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She studied with Misha Cohen, OMD, to complete the Quan Yin HCV Certification course in preparation to treat people living with hepatitis C as well as HIV and other chronic conditions..

Erinn Specializes in womens' health, preventative wellness, stress management, sobriety maintenance, cancer support, trauma and recovery. Erinn offers this perspective on her approach to acupuncture treatment and health care:
“ Acupuncture and modern medicine combined have the potential to support, strengthen, and nurture a person back to vital health and well-being. I emphasize preventative care through TCM dietary therapy, stress management, and self-awareness. I consider it to be an honor and a blessing to be able to share this knowledge and encourage others to realize their potential to heal themselves.”

Massage

Rebecca Coolidge

Rebecca intuitively blends many modalities into a deeply relaxing and therapeutic massage. She custom-tailors the session to best meet each person’s needs, combining integrative strokes and detailed spot work. Rebecca focuses on stress- and work-related musculo-skeletal issues. Her modalities include Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Trigger Point. She uses Craniosacral Therapy to release tension and relieve nerve-related pain. Rebecca’s gentle presence informs her work in Pre-and Perinatal massage. Her talents extend to the subtle, spiritual work of Reiki for those wishing to work on the body-mind continuum. As a former teacher, Rebecca shares this: “I am inspired by the mind and body’s innate ability to re-learn and heal.” Rebecca’s healing touch helps your body restore itself to balance and ease.

Katie  Owens

Katie received  her training at the World School of Massage and Holistic Healing Arts in San Francisco, CA and has studied Swedish, deep tissue, foot reflexology, structural foot balancing, and Vibrational Healing Massage Therapy ® (VHMT). She uses specific stretches, compressions, torques, rocking, and gentle shaking to bring more fluidity and freedom of movement that releases stuck energy patterns and pain in the body. Katie specializes in a combination of Swedish/deep tissue that provides relaxation and relief from sore muscles and VHMT ® to provide freedom of movement and a sense of spaciousness in the joints. “I particularly delight in assisting people in finding relief from neck and shoulder tension and pain in the hips, legs and feet. I individuate every massage to best support a person in their healing journey and to provide compassionate and intuitive touch to each bodywork session.”

Liz Reilly

Liz is a certified practitioner of Esalen® massage. Her foundation in Esalen's flowing style of massage allows for integration of other appropriate modes of bodywork based on the client’s needs. Currently, Liz is completing a 1000-hour Master Bodyworker program and has cultivated skills in Deep Tissue, Lymphatic Massage, Foot Reflexology, Vibrational Healing Massage Therapy®, and Cranial Sacral Balancing. Focused on providing deeply relaxing sessions, she creates a safe and nurturing experience for her clients by using slow, deliberate movements while incorporating rhythmic and repetitive motions to help release stress and tension.

About Massage

Therapists at Quan Yin Clinic use only the highest quality of oil and lotions with no unnatural additives. You can be assured that your choice of a beautifully scented, or fragrance-free massage, will sooth your body and replenish your spirit.

Jordan Bice

Jordan specializes in Swedish and Deep Tissue massages. Swedish massage techniques relax the body and revitalize the mind. Deep Tissue massage considers posture and is a more specialized approach intended to improve ease of movement, range of motion, and reduce some kinds of pain. Jordan trained at the Mckinnon Body Center in Oakland. He was drawn to body work after it helped him recover from a car accident. Jordan's massage work is slow and deliberate, with emphasis on relaxation and/or mechanical functioning. He looks forward to working with you.

Qi Gong

Laura Bresler

Laura Bresler has taught qigong at Quan Yin Healing Arts Center for 9 years. She was certified to teach by Qigong Master Lawrence Wong, and continues to study with him. As a meditator, she spent many years tuning in to how we express our deep feelings and beliefs, both verbally and bodily. She brings this experience, and that of acknowledging conflict and seeking harmony, to her teaching. “I love introducing people to qigong, and sharing my pleasure in it. My teaching style blends encouragement, compassion, and humor.”
